Is It Christmas Yet?

We like to stretch out the celebration of Christmas. So, we spent one Sunday afternoon opening the bounty that family had sent across the miles.

One Small Baby....

The Tallest Tree Ever

Since we moved into the-ski-lodge of a house, we went in search of the tallest, biggest, (cheapest) tree ever. We found the deal and the tree! The guy even brought it home for us in his truck. Jeff manned the lot :) The kids couldn't believe our good fortune.

One of the rare moments when Violet was putting an ornament on as opposed to taking it off... "my pish".

I was sweetly telling Jeff how this 10 ft tree was any kid's dream tree. We had to laugh because it is his dream tree too. As long as we have been picking out trees together, I have had to remind him of ceiling height restrictions.

Asher asked if we could keep it for next year.

Christmas Recital

Winter danced her way through another semester of ballet. Her teachers do such a good job making it special and keeping it fun. They danced to the tune from Charlie Brown Christmas, Christmas Time Is Here. Do all ballerinas like cookies this much?
