Super Six

Asher woke up on his birthday to a super set-up done by his dad. A set-up is a favorite thing to do right now. You arrange every toy you can get your hands on in a random still life action scence :)
We celebrated in the Bat Cave with a few new friends from campus.
I have made all of Asher's birthday cakes up until now, but he decided this year it would be cooler if someone else did it. I am not aftraid to admit my limitations.
Our little cousin Reese came all the way from Indianapolis. We are not sure how many cookies he consumed in a two hour period.
Even Batman gets hungry.

Surprised!

Jakin Hoffer dropped in for a surprise visit. Asher had no clue his best friend from Indiana was coming. The boys think it was all about them, but their moms happen to be best friends too.

Jake wore his overalls because he didn't want Asher to forget what a farm boy from Indiana looks like.

We spent a beautiful day at the Arch. It was exciting to show them around "our town".

Jeff took the boys to a Super Heroes Exhibit at the Science Center. Mom and Susan got to spend two hours at Starbucks over coffee and dessert. It was a wonderful visit.

My Brave Scholar

I have decided Jeff is the bravest man I know. Classes have started and they are hard. Seminary and Saint Louis are great fun, it is just this whole study and work thing that we are trying to figure out. Please pray for wisdom and patience.

Violet

Violet is everywhere. She is crawling and pulling-up. She has no sense of fear or any kind of reserve. She is a mad woman, but manages to be insanely cute the entire time.

Life Goes On

Time for Violet, already six months old, to start solids. Big Brother and Big Sister couldn't wait to give her ice cream. They were disappointed in rice cereal..so was Violet.
